Mark Harmon fans have long been worried for the actor's frail appearance. During the "NCIS" Season 14 episodes, the 65-year-old actor shocked fans with his thin physique. Rumors began to spread that the celebrity's health could prompt Harmon to leave the show.

Fans continue to speculate about Mark Harmon's health

Several publications have reported that the actor's weak appearance has not dispelled rumors about his health. Because the "Certain Prey" actor has not released any official statements ending the rumors, many fans continued to speculate that he will leave "NCIS".

What fans should remember is that Mark Harmon, aside from being the main star of the show, is also an "NCIS" executive producer. According to a Daily Mail report last year, Harmon signed a two-year contract to stay on the crime show as part of the cast and crew. This confirms that Harmon will still be around for at least Season 15.

Fans should take heart, though, that Harmon pays attention to his health. In a past interview with Men's Fitness, Harmon talked about his acting career and his days as a UCLA quarterback. He said he was still trying to stay in shape and that he did Pilates.

Mark Harmon is not quitting "NCIS"

The producers of "NCIS" have long denied the rumors that the show will be cancelled or that Harmon will quit. The cast and crew have also not said anything pn social media about the actor leaving. It looks like the actor will continue to play his role, despite the fans' fears over his health.

Tomorrow, Harmon will return as Agents Gibbs on "NCIS" Season 14 in the episode, "Off the Grid". Gibbs will go undercover, which will bring up a lot of things about his secrets and his past. It promises to be a rollercoaster episode, which means that Agent Gibbs will still have a big role to play in the next few episodes of the show. Watch the trailer for "Off the Grid" below.
