‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ Spoilers: Rey Could Be Han Solo’s Daughter; Luke Erases Their Memory

Several "Star Wars: Episode 8" spoilers are flooding the internet again, despite the fact that the movie is far from its release. A new spoiler suggests that the key character in the movie, Rey, could be Han Solo and Leia's daughter.

Ever since the release of Episode 7, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," fans have been wondering about the origin of Rey, her family, from where she comes from and who her parents are. According to a video posted by YouTube user Mike Zeroh, the answer to this question may be could be covered in the last part itself.

Fans already know that "Star Wars: Episode 8" would reveal a lot of things about Rey, her family, her background and her connection with the Force. However, the last movie in the third trilogy also made fans believe that she has some sought of connection with Luke Skywalker, especially seeing how Rey gets all excited in the movie just by hearing his name.

Several speculations have already been made about Rey's actual parents. While some say that she could be Luke Skywalker's or Leia and Han's daughter, other believe that she may have some sought of connection with Emperor Palpatine or Leader Snoke.

Youtuber Zeroh believes that it is highly unlikely that Rey is Luke Skywalker's daughter, although there may be some connection. He believes that Rey is Han Solo and Leia's daughter, that is, Rey is the daughter of Luke Skywalker's sister.

Zeroh says that fans discarded this theory at once because of the fact that both Han and Leia did not identify their own daughter in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Even the same is true for Kylo Ren, who was not able to identify his own sister.

This is the reason why Zeroh believes that Luke Skywalker may have erased the memory of Han Solo and Leia so that that they are not able to identify their daughter any time in the future. Why he did so continues to be a mystery.

The connection between the three is also evident from their body language in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." While Han Solo has a kind of a different reaction to how Rey speaks during their travel to Maz Kanata's planet, Rey and Leia were seen taking a long, affectionate hug during the last part of the movie, indicating that they both internally know about their relationship with each other.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is scheduled to be released in December 2017.
