'Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Prologue' News: Secret Ending Leads Sora, Friends To Mount Olympus

Square Enix has just dropped "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" Prologue and its already winning the hearts of avid fans of the franchise as well as generating fresh fans of the game. This early into the release, players may have already succeded in finding a secret ending that could prove crucial to the sequel.

Gaming reviewers like Destructoid's Chris Carter have found many things to like about the new addition to the popular franchise. First off, he said that the game builds on the gains of one of its predecessors, Dream Drop Distance and provides an entertaining experience for avid fans of the game and even those who are only venturing into the KH world for the first time. He cited that the installment also provides a great set up for its sequel, Kingdom Hearts III which still has no official release date until now.

Another review from CNet's Daniel Van Boom, also gave the game a thumbs up, saying that despite some missteps in some previous installments, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Prologue has the ability to rope fans back in to the franchise as it brings back the fun element to the game.

While some fans are still enjoying the recent release, some fans have already unearthed the final boss fight and a secret scene that could be important before playing Birth By Sleep 0.2.

According to the Dream Drop Distance Secret Ending forum, the secret ending gives important information as Birth By Sleep 0.2 picks up immediately after Dream Drop Distance and can be unlocked y getting four or five trophies and answering a series of questions correctly towards the end of the game.

A separate report by Drinly, Sora has to regain his lost power in the land of heroes in order to reawaken the power of the lost hearts. At the end, Sora is seen being led by the key to the path of the heart all the way to Mount Olympus.
