‘One Punch Man’ Season 2: Creator Teases Saitama’s New Look And First Defeat

"One Punch Man" fans should be excited; not just because the series is renewed for its second season, but Saitama will also possibly have a new appearance in the upcoming installment. The series creator, Yusuke Murata, recently uploaded several images for the latest chapters of "One Punch Man" manga on his Twitter account.

A fan then shared Murata's Twitter post to Imgur and compared the new image with Saitama's old look. With the before-after picture, fans can acknowledge that Saitama seems to have more facial expressions compared to the first series. According to Comicbook, it was revealed that Murata even gives more close-up looks to the battle and characters to see more closely the expressions in the characters' face.

Besides Saitama's new appearance, "One Punch Man" Season 2 also promises another tough battle of Saitama and his nemesis. Fans have been speculating that Saitama will face defeat for the first time. This kind of spoilers have been circulating online and making fans can't wait any longer to find out what the future holds for this expressionless, bald hero. A theory says that Saitama might fight with Garou or Amai Mask. There are also speculations that say Saitama will be fighting Monster Association, a group of 17 villains whose each member possess a high-level of power.

The battle with Monster Association, which might also team-up with Garou, has been rumored to be the moment where Saitama will lose his undefeatable record. Meanwhile, the season 1 villain, Lord Boros, could even make his return in season 2 to take a revenge for his painful defeat. The list of villains that Saitama would possibly face in the next season is going to make the series even more exciting to look forward to.

The series which debuted in 2015 has received various responses from fans and critics. "One Punch Man" is mainly enjoyed by viewers who love action anime series that features parody humor. There is no exact date when "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be premiered. However, a recent rumor suggests that fans will see the bald hero again in the mid-year, possibly spring or fall.
