Hit Korean Drama 'Descendants Of The Sun' Will Be Airing On India Soon Through Zidagi

The Hit Korean Drama "Descendants of the Sun" is a huge success not even in South Korea, but even in the Asian countries around it. And with its success, Indian entertainment channel "Zindagi" is going to bring in into Indian households. This is a fresh breath of air for the Indian television culture that is dominated by U.S.A and UK shows.

It is a big change for the Indian television. The television industry has been dominated with never-ending soaps before. According to Times of India, when the Zindagi was launched, there are positive feedbacks from the television viewers. The Zindagi channel is known for handpicking shows that is not yet seen or unique to air on Indian television industry.

The drama has been a huge success in most Asian countries. It also made Song Joong-Ki (Shi-Jin) one of the most popular and one of the biggest paid Korean actors. This popularity also earned him two major movies that are coming this 2017. Song Hye-Kyo also earned big projects. And both of them also won a Presidential Award. Season two is uncertain because of the couple both having hectic schedules.

"Descendants of the Sun" revolves around the story of Special Force Officer Shi-Jin and Dr. Mo-Yeon, a brilliant surgeon. They eventually met and dated for a while, but ended up parting their ways because of the differences in their jobs as Shi-Jin kills people to save lives while Mo-Yeon saves life by healing them. They will meet again later on, and they will get caught in a stream of unfortunate events in the country of Uruk. This is where their love story will really begin.
