Justin Bieber has decided that he will not attend the 59th annual Grammy Awards on February 12, although he's nominated for 4 Grammys. The 22-year-old singer said he prefers to be somewhere else to attending Grammys which he thinks is irrelevant and it doesn't seem to be representative, especially when it comes to young singers.

As per TMZ, other big names in the music industry like Kanye West and Drake also followed the same path to "boycotting" Grammys. Meanwhile, Drake is reported to be on his Europe tour at Grammys night. The "Hotline Bling" rapper has a show in Manchester, on February 12.

The Grammys boycott started with Frank Ocean, who had the best album of the year according to a lot of fans and critics, didn't even submit his album for Grammy nomination. The singer who's known for his idiosyncratic music style thinks that Grammys, just like Oscar, is lacking in diversity. He even said that The Grammys are like a dinosaur that doesn't represent young, black artists.

Kanye West also shared the same thought about The Grammys. The rapper who dropped his hit album "The Life of Pablo" in 2016 has even vowed to boycott The Grammy Awards if Ocean's album, "Blonde", and his visual album "Endless" weren't even submitted for a nomination. However, a source said that another reason that makes Kanye West seems to be keeping his promise to not attending Grammys is because he wants to spend some personal time after a series of feuds and hectic months, as reported by US Magazine.

Even though the three pop forces wouldn't show up to the biggest even in the US music industry, The Grammys will still be full of stars. John Legend, Adele, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, and Carrie Underwood are lined up to perform, while James Corden will reportedly host the event. The 2017 Grammy Awards will air on CBS, Sunday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m ET.
