After debuting their new single Paris at their performance in Los Angeles last December, The Chainsmokers are geared to set the year on fire with a 40-date multi-city concert tour of their first full-length album "Memories: Do Not Open."

The New York duo of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall confirmed the news of their 40-location tour and posted on twitter the list of their schedule from April 13 through June 10.

The tour will kick off Miami and Tampa in Florida for the first two days and go through South Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, before it makes a brief stop in New York, then continue Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, California, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Los Angeles, South Carolina, Maryland, Massachusets, Rhode Island and finally end the tour back in their home base in New York, USA Today reported.

Fans are already waiting for tickets to go on sale through Ticketmaster on February 3 as tweets of excitement greeted the news of the album and the tour. Many of the fans have claimed that they knew this was happening even before the official announcement was made.

The news actually leaked when Coldplay posted their excitement for the new LP, after hearing the songs in the album. After the post sent their fans in a frenzy, Alex and Andrew confirmed the news and their record label Columbia / Disruptor Records also announced officially that the album will come out in April, around the same time as the concerts' kick off.

Before the album release and the tour, the duo will attend the Grammy Awards after they picked up a nod for best New Artist. The duo also booked a permanent gig with Wynn Nightlife in Las Vegas and will be performing at the venues well through 2019.

The Chainsmokers rose to fame in 2014 when their first single "Selfie" made it to the Billboard charts, followed by another hit, "Roses." The duo also collaborated with various artists to produce even more EDM hit singles like "Don't Let Me Down," "Closer."
