Users got quite excited when AMD Ryzen CPU's in 6-Core variant was announced back in December 2016.  Consumers await the availability of the product in the market, it appears that they will have to wait for a little longer.

Reports suggest that AMD is planning on delaying the launch of this product a little more. The multiple core configurations that the Ryzen CPUs are expected to arrive in, namely, 4-core and 8-core variants will be hitting the shelves soon enough but will be leaving out the 6-core edition for a little later date i.e. 3 March.

AMD's most-anticipated Ryzen CPU is going to competing directly with Intel's Kaby Lake/Skylake Core i3, i5, and i7 chips. The latter come is SR3, SR5, and SR7 variants. However, the Summit Ridge CPUs will be coming out in 4,6 and 8-core configurations - which is a seriously sought-after technology in the recent time.

Segment Next recently leaked a new rumor that there is no mention of the 6-core kind. Therefore, at the moment, there is no clarification on whether Ryzen will be skipping this version altogether or whether they will, in fact, be launching it, but on a later date.

What's certain is that the overclocking feature of the SR3, SR5 and SR7 will be available from the very beginning.  Apart from this, AMD will ensure that all the necessary accessories will be made available to users. These "necessary" accessories include the high-end air and water cooling solutions. The over-clocking will be in the store at the same time as Ryzen chipsets. According to a report published by Extreme Tech, these products will be available in the coming weeks.

AMD is planning on launching the chip at the end of February or the very beginning of March, the report read. For more updates, stay tuned.
