Nintendo Classic Mini NES Restock Coming Soon; Another $449 Alternative Surfaces!

The Nintendo Classic Mini NES is consistently been out of stock despite numerous restocks made by the company. As one of the most desired gifts and device for gamers, Nintendo itself stated that they are doing their best to restock again as soon as possible.

The Nintendo Classic Mini NES was released in November last year. Even if three months have already passed upon its release, still buyers are having a hard time to get their hands on this classic gaming console.

Those who wish to purchase the Nintendo Classic Mini NES for themselves or for their loved ones will not have to worry as Nintendo announced a stock update. According to the announcement, more Nintendo Classic Mini NES units may be made available stores soon. Nintendo ensured its consumers that the Japanese company is "working to increase production". Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima explained that delay of the expected restock was due to low-production of some parts to complete the Nintendo Classic Mini NES.

However, despite Nintendo Classic Mini NES' rarity, some several retailers have acquired a few units that are very limited. But buying a unit is crucial that stores are only selling one unit per customer, as reported by Fox News.

For some who cannot wait for the restock soon have opted to purchased from third-party sellers on eBay or Amazon. Meanwhile, some have chosen the newfound alternative for the Nintendo Classic Mini NES which is the Analogue NT Mini, according to The Verge.

According to some sources, the Analogue NT Mini offers a wider range of original NES games for it supports up to 2,000 titles while the Nintendo Classic Mini NES only offers 30 preinstalled games. It terms of appearance, both look similar.

Lastly in terms of its price tag, there is an incredibly huge difference though. The Analogue MT Mini retails for $449 while the Classic Mini NES is at $60. The former's hefty price tag is justified by its other features such as the availability of different resolutions and its boasted aluminum body.
