'Vikings’ Season 5 Spoilers: Lagertha To Die Next? EP Teases Show May End After Six Seasons

The historical drama series of "Vikings" recently aired its season 4 on television and the internet.  It will soon be taken off the streamlined channels after its final season, i.e- season 5.

"Vikings" being a historical drama, it was quite natural for the series to go on with the demise of many characters, some of them being important too. But viewers can sense that more of them are going to die in this last season. People are assuming that even an important character like "Lagertha" will also die in season 5.

Lagertha might be the next character to die in the "Vikings" Season 5. Recently in an interview with Alex Hogh Anderson, he playfully said to take revenge on Lagertha over the death of his mother.

Alex plays the character of Ivar in "Vikings" . According to the interview with ET, Alex told how the character Ivar was attached to his mother. His mother was the only person who loved him. So his character would have never settled down before taking a revenge on Lagertha.

This leads to much more speculations that Lagertha will end up dead in "Vikings" Season 5 and it will possibly be Ivar to take the revenge. In season 4, seven important characters died including King Ecbert (Linus Roache), Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and Sigurd (David Lindstrom).

"Vikings" creator, Micheal Hirst told Variety that Ivar's actions in Season 5 will have serious consequences. Anderson further added that there might be a possibility of a romance blooming in Ivar's life in the final season. His character will be violent, determined, and angry but yet in love too.

"Vikings" Season 4 came with mind-blowing scenes of the historical series which undoubtedly received good ratings and good reviews from critics and fans all over the world. As "Vikings" Season 5 has the possibility of being the last season, fans from around the globe are counting on the makers to make it even more amazing than season 4.
