'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers: Is This Sasha's Curtain Call?

The long winter break of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is done and the hit zombie drama is posed to double the thrill. The midseason finale showed Rick rallying his people to raise arms. They are ready to wage war against Negan and the Saviors. But the question is, are their allies willing to risk their lives in this all-out fight back?

Whatever the answer might be, there is at least one person for certain who wants to take the Savior head honcho down. That is Sasha, portrayed by Sonequa Martin-Green, who lost her lover Abraham at the beginning of "The Walking Dead" Season 7. The two characters only enjoyed a brief affair, but their love was strong. The zombie show hasn't really focused on how she's been coping, but Sasha could have a lot of issues beneath her tough exterior.

Just this Monday, the actress responded to fans' queries as to how her character is dealing with Abraham's loss and how she will carry on in his spirit. She told the Twitterworld that the lovers were alike in that both had warrior-like personalities. Furthermore, his death only served to strengthen her resolve. Those words Martin-Green tweeted could foreshadow other events that could happen in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. CinemaBlend wrote that there is a possibility Sasha will make a big sacrifice for her crew. There are evidences pointing towards it, such as that time Sasha attempted to speak to Rosita while their crew was leaving Kingdom.

If Sasha's story does become that of sacrifice, then it would make fans' prophecies of her death come true. Though Martin-Green's onscreen character is not in the comic series, ComicBook.com said that she is already following the storyline of Holly.

Holly was Abraham's short-lived romance before his death and after he broke away from Rosita. When the military man met his demise, Holly offered herself as a sacrificial lamb just so Negan could die. If fans are correct in their theories, then "The Walking Dead" Season 7 would be the last for Sasha and Sonequa Martin-Green.
