‘The Flash’ Season 3 Episode 13 New Trailer, Spoilers: Barry, Solovar Fight Gladiator Style

"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, "Attack on Gorilla City," pits Barry Allen against Solovar in a fight to the death. Grant Gustin teased the series goes back to the arena, when The Flash battles the giant ape gladiator style.

Gustin gushed about Barry's fight scene with Solovar in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, in a recent interview. The actor, who plays the titular character, teased some spoilers about the said battle. He mentioned the appearance of other gorillas in the fight that takes viewers back to the Roman era.

"There are lots and lots and lots of gorillas, more than we've ever seen before. We have this really, really, really cool gladiator moment for Barry in this really cool arena that the gorillas have," Gustin told Entertainment Weekly. Naturally, there are bound to be several apes in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, given it is aptly titled "Attack on Gorilla City." In this episode, Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Julian travel to Earth 2 to rescue Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) who is captured by Grodd.

Barry ends up in the arena after Grodd lured them into a trap that involves defeating Solovar, the leader of Gorilla City. According to the synopsis for "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, Grodd wants the team's help in stopping Solovar's plan to invade Earth 1. Apparently, this help means Barry has to defeat Solovar in the arena.

Likewise, promotional photos for "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13 teased Barry's fight with Solovar. The Flash is up against a giant white ape. Surrounding them appears to be the other gorillas that Gustin mentioned (see video below for the photos).

Meanwhile, Comicbook shared another trailer for "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, which shows the team at Grodd's lair. There Harrison, possessed by Grodd, tells the team that they will be sent to the arena to be executed.

Naturally, Barry steps in for his friends. However, will he succeed in defeating Solovar? What happens to Grodd in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13? Fans will have to find out when the two-part episode debuts on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
