Vin Diesel Lends Singing Chops For Kygo, Selena Gomez Collab

Selena Gomez and Kygo are being joined by no less than Vin Diesel in their collaboration song! "The Fate of the Furious" actor the two singers his voice for a remix of "It Ain't Me". The action star turned vocalist gave the track an interesting twist.

Taking his cue from fellow actor Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel is exercising his singing chops. He began with a tryout for a Broadway musical, Vulture wrote. And he followed it up by working with Kygo for his song with Selena Gomez.

The 49-year-old musician wannabe announced his work with Kygo on different social media platforms. On Twitter, he urged his followers to visit his official Facebook page. And on it, he shared his musical talent in a 3-minute video. As of this time, 2.5 million people have listened to Vin Diesel exercise his vocal chords in singing.

Vin Diesel also praised Selena Gomez for her beautiful singing voice in a post on Instagram. In it, he also thanked Kygo for working with him on an "It Ain't Me" remix and for believing in him. He also shared his feelings regarding the collaboration, saying that it was painful. But at the same time, he felt "celebratory" about it. Furthermore, he said that he followed the 25-year-old musician's lead to the recording booth.

The Kygo, Selena Gomez and Vin Diesel mix of "It Ain't Me" was revealed to the world at the end of last week. This shows that the muscly actor has not forgotten about his wish of becoming a rock celebrity, according to Billboard. Because of this collaborative work, he was also able to flex his muscles out of his comfort zone.

This is not the first time Vin Diesel busted out his singing voice for all to hear. He had previously sang to Maroon 5's "My Heart is Open".
