'Grey's Anatomy' News: Show to introduce a new villain, Jackson's father may appear soon

"Grey's Anatomy" will reportedly bring more juicy stories as the series will reportedly introduce a new villain sometime before Season 13 closes. It has also been confirmed that Jackson's father may appear very soon. 

In the past episode, the drastic changes made at Grey Sloan have not been received very well by most of the attendings. According to the promo of the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy," it looks like Meredith will be back in the hospital alongside Alex. This reinforces the question on whether or not Bailey will bring back Meredith in her post as the chief of General surgery. 

Meanwhile, the medical drama is reportedly looking to cast an actor in his mid-40s to be the show's new baddie. The yet to be introduced character has been described as appealing, charismatic and charming but also a manipulative and cunning, TV Line reported.

Reports say that the new villain will be revealed in the final four episodes of Season 13 and will likely return in the next season. Fans think that this should be an interesting storyline to set up the next season.

As for other characters, Jo's backstory will still be fleshed out gradually. As of now, fans are still speculating that her abusive husband will make an appearance very soon. Some say that the new cast may have a connection to Jo, but it is still something that is still yet to be confirmed. Another theory about the mystery casting is Jackson Avery's father who has yet to make an appearance in the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, it has been confirmed that the absentee patriarch will march in Grey Sloan soon. 

"Grey's Anatomy" still has several episodes left until the finale. To get up to speed, the show has recently resolved Alex's season-long storyline after Andrew De Luca drops the charges against him. The series is now exploring the Bailey vs Attendings and Richard Webber arc after introducing Dr. Minnick as the new head of the teaching program. "Grey's Anatomy" airs every Thursday at 8 pm on ABC.
