The speculations of Angelina Jolie quitting Hollywood after her split from Brad Pitt have been doing the rounds. But there is no truth to the reports of Jolie quitting Hollywood as she has lined up a number of new acting and directing projects.

There have been reports that Angelina Jolie is done with Hollywood but these reports have been refuted by sources close to Jolie who have claimed that she is thinking about a lot of acting and directing offers. Once such acting offer could see Angelina Jolie reprising her role in Disney's "Maleficent 2," Hollywood Reporter reported.

The "Maleficent" star is also a part of two Universal projects: World War II espionage drama "The Spy Who Loved" that takes its name from and is based on Clare Mulley's 2013 book and "Catherine the Great and Potemkin: The Imperial Love Affair." Angelina Jolie may also go on board her next directorial project that is based on "Without Blood," a 2004 novel by Alessandro Baricco.

Though there have been reports that Hollywood bigwigs are stepping backward and are no longer keen to work with Angelina Jolie after her divorce from Brad Pitt, none of these have been verified. On the contrary, the 41-year-old actress-director is also producing a Disney kids' movie titled "The One and Only Ivan."

Angelina Jolie's directorial project "Unbroken," that was released in 2014 had shown her remarkable prowess in the field of direction. As an actress, Angelina Jolie had last worked in "Kung Fu Panda 3" where she had given her voice to the tigress.

It was last week only that Angelina Jolie broke her silence for the first time since filing for divorce from her now ex-husband Brad Pitt. The actress spoke to BBC World News about the divorce and how it had been a difficult time for the family, Mstars News reported.

Angelina Jolie opened up in an interview with the BBC while she was Cambodia to promote her new documentary titled "First They Killed My Father." Jolie's documentary that touches the subjects of family and loss will be released on Netflix later this year. For the premiere of the documentary in Cambodia, Angelina Jolie was accompanied by her and Brad Pitt's six children.
