Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One are the best selling gaming consoles in the market. Both the gaming consoles received a price cut and were available for just $250. The sale was supposed to February 25, however, it is still going on.

As reported by GameSpot, Amazon is still selling Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One for a Black Friday like deal at $250 off. The lowest price deal can be found on the Amazon product pages for PlayStation 4 Uncharted 4, Xbox One Battlefield 1 and Xbox One Minecraft.

As per the report, Amazon has not provided an indication of when would the discounts end. The sale for Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One is still going strong till the stocks run out or Amazon decides to end the substantial price cut it is offering on these gaming consoles.

It was reported by UberGizmo that the price war was started by Sony when it reduced the price of PlayStation 4 console a week ago. Microsoft, as a response matched the discount price of the Sony PlayStation 4 to its Xbox One gaming console, reported Techradar.

Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One were released in 2013. At launch, Sony PS4 was cheaper by $100 than the Xbox One, however, the Xbox One was sold along with a Kinect sensor. Microsoft eventually removed the Kinect sensor from the bundle to match the Sony PlayStation 4 price. But this move did not help much as Sony PlayStation 4 was still the best-selling console.

Microsoft is offering Xbox One with $250 price cut as an opportunity to sell its Xbox One bundles cheaper by $50. In December last year, the two rival gaming consoles went head to head in the sales department.

Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4 are rival consoles and some exclusive gaming titles are launched for both the gaming consoles. Currently, the Sony PlayStation 4 is outselling the Microsoft Xbox One worldwide.
