Express reported that a new detail of "God of War 4" leaks, which suggests that the anticipated title is set for a 2017 release. Christopher Judge who will be voicing Kratos, one of the main characters in the game, listed this on his bio.

What caught the interest of his followers is the year 2017 enclosed in brackets next to it. This triggered the rumors that "God of War 4" will be launched in 2017.

Well, "God of War 4" is already in development for a couple of years, so it just makes sense if Sony will finally release it. There are rumors that the title may be released in March 2017.

On the other hand, Amazon had a poll asking the players what games excite them this year, Segment Next reported. The options include "Red Dead Redemption 2," "Horizon Zero Dawn," and "God of War."

Many are positive that "God of War 4" is also coming out this year. "Read Dead Redemption 2" will be released in the fall. Meanwhile, "Horizon Zero Dawn" was slated for a Feb. 28 release this year. Thus, chances are high that "God of War 4" will also arrive in the same year.

"God of War 4" is one of Sony's flagship franchises. The title is Sony Exclusive and will be released for both PlayStation 4 and Pro this year.
