Recent reports have been saying that PlayStation 5 will be released together with Project Scorpio on 2018. Yet, Analyst, Michael Pachter has debunked this issue confirming that PS5 will likely be released in 2020.

According to MStars News, PS5 may feature Virtual Reality experience. This allows a user to completely enjoy gaming without any unwanted wires that may hinder their total enjoyment. PS5 may also be supported by the enhanced experience of 4K technology which other console misses.

Another features that PS5 may also have something that is featured in Xbox Kinect which may also expense more for the company as well as the gamers. Through all these rumors, it is expected to finally experience PS5 by 2018.

However, Twinfinite reported that Sony has no plan to counter the release of Project Scorpio, as PS4 Pro is still in the market. Gamers can expect that PS5 will be released three years from now.

Patcher added, that he never sees the console to be released earlier, as per reports. He also thought that Project Scorpio will definitely take a support from PS4 Pro in which they won't make it run at 4K. Every console needs a backward-compatibility, in fact, Microsoft will be upgrading Xbox One and will not replace it.

Patcher is also making it clear, that there is nothing gamers can expect from Sony in 2018, especially with PS5. Xbox Two can also be expected by 2020 just like PS5. Anyway, gamers can still expect gaming consoles every three years based on their pattern.

Both fans and the company wanted to have new consoles as soon as possible. However, there's no losing of hope as Scorpio is coming soon yet. Another speculation is also saying that the Scorpio will be launch in the last quarter this year, together with a new Halo title.
