Nokia relaunched its retro phone, Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017 after 17 years since the original on came out. Gresso, a company specialising in customising smartphones has launched a titanium version of Nokia 3310 called Gresso 3310. Another special edition comes from Russia called 'Nokia 3310 Supremo Putin' featuring a gold-plated portrait of President Putin.
The iconic 3310 is considered as one of the best phones the manufacturer has ever produced. The new version has a 2.4-inch display and 16MB internal storage. It will not compete with today's flagships nor it's meant to as it targets a different market.
New Nokia 3310 is a feature phone and meant for basic use such as calling, texting and a little bit of internet browsing.The Nokia 3310 is a dual SIM phone that accepts two micro SIMs (GSM+GSM). Nokia has also thrown Bluetooth, FM and a 2MP camera in the new version, reported GSMArena. The phone comes in dazzling candy colours - Warm Red, Dark Blue, Yellow and Grey.
The Gresso 3310 pays tribute to the iconic Nokia 3310 phone, however, it costs whopping three thousand dollars. The phone is very special and is made using an ultra-durable titanium body with a titanium keyboard as reported by AndroidAuthority.
The phone is inspired from Nokia 3310 but bumps up the specifications by including 32GB internal storage and a 3MP camera. Only 3310 phones will be made by the company and there no information on the availability.
A new 3310 inspired phone comes from Russia and is made by a company called Caviar. The Nokia 3310 Supremo Putin edition carries a gold-plated portrait of Vladimir Putin and a gold seal that engraves a quote from Russia's National Anthem at the back of the phone. The front pf the phone features a gold-plated button with an image of Russian Coat of Arms.
The Nokia 3310 Supremo Putin edition, however, has the same specifications as the new Nokia 3310 but costs around 30 times more than the original model. The phone costs around $1690 and is available for purchase from Caviar website.
