‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2 Winter Finale: Watch Episode 10 ‘By The Light of Dawn’ Online

In the "Shadowhunters" Season 2 Winter Finale, mayhem ensues at the Shadowhunters headquarters when Valentine attacks the New York Institute. His plan to get the Soul Sword apparently involves kidnapping Simon to lure Clary.

Valentine wants to use Clary to get the Soul Sword. He knows that by threatening to kill Simon, she would eventually come to his rescue. Sadly, Simon died in the "Shadowhunters" Season 2 Winter Finale. Valentine slit his throat when he could no longer wait for Clary to arrive. However, Jace arrives in time to bring the vampire back to life. In Episode 10 "By The Light of Dawn," Jace gives his blood to Simon after he disguises himself as Clary.

Likewise, the midseason gives more meaning to the Jace-Clary-Simon love triangle.

Fans of Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series may be familiar with the events in the "Shadowhunters" Season 2 Winter Finale. After all, the show takes inspiration from the books.
