Abby Lee Miller isn't the only one leaving "Dance Moms" for good. One of her dancers, Maddie Ziegler, is moving on to other projects like a movie and a memoir. The teenager became famous after being featured in a Sia music video and she is now pursuing other things that will take time away from the dance show.

The dance show competition on Lifetime had a lot of controversy when "Dance Moms" coach Abby Miller faced legal issues. Despite this, the network has confirmed that there will be a "Dance Moms" Season 7B. According to Bustle, the upcoming half of the season will explore the departure of Miller and one of the show's best young dancers, Maddie Ziegler.

Ziegler had been with the show since "Dance Moms" Season 1 in 2011. She quickly rose to the top and was featured in Sia's "Chandelier" music video. She also became a judge on "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation". Recently, the 14-year-old was cast in an upcoming movie, "The Book of Henry" and her memoir "The Maddie Diaries" will be out later this year.

Many fans speculated that Maddie Ziegler's "The Maddie Diaries" will contain some negative things about her former "Dance Moms" coach Abby Miller. According to the fans of the dance show, Miller has always favored Ziegler and would often promote her side projects on social media. This time, though, Miller was silent about Ziegler's memoir.

During an interview with Build, Ziegler said that she was moving on to better options, but she was thankful for "Dance Moms" because that was where Sia first saw her. Ziegler also compared working on "Chandelier" to being on "Dance Moms". "I could let loose and not be criticized for making a mistake. Everything was just stress-free like I didn't have to worry about winning a competition or making my teacher happy," she said on air.

It's obvious that Ziegler was talking about "Dance Moms" coach Abby Miller who was notorious for loudly criticizing every mistake. Ziegler's sentiments also express that she would rather pursue her new projects than go back to the stressful environment on the dance show. Perhaps she will return to the dance industry in the future, but her fans will have to make do without her performances in the next season.
