The CBS crime drama, "Blue Bloods" Season 7, will return next week with a new epic episode. Aside from Danny investigating the disappearance of an ex-NYPD officer, Frank will have to deal with a friend of his in the force who doesn't want to retire even though his age is already failing him.

The police procedural TV show is already in its seventh season and it shows no signs of stopping. Carter Matt reported that "Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 18 will air next week and it will reveal a new problem for Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg). A former NYPD officer goes to Danny to reveal that she and her partner were planning to make amends to a woman they had wrongfully convicted years ago.

Instead, the ex-police officer goes missing and it might have something to do with revenge. Furthermore, in the upcoming "Blue Bloods" Season 7 episode, Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) faces a problem when his friend Chief Taylor Daniels (Isaiah Washington) is being forced to retire. Chief Daniels wants to continue working, but he is at the mandatory age for retirement.

Frank will be forced to remove him from his position if he doesn't step down. At the same time, the next "Blue Bloods" Season 7 episode might make Frank realize his own age and career. The 72-year-old actor plays a similarly old character who has been in the force for a long time. Previous Mstars News report revealed that Selleck will still be on the show, but it doesn't mean that his own character won't retire eventually.

The "Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 18 will also be the show's 150th episode and is titled "A Deep Blue Goodbye". With such a heavy title, fans are speculating whether it could mean a farewell to Chief Daniels or another important police officer. The upcoming episode will air on March 31 at 10 PM on CBS.
