‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Finale Brings Amaya Back From The Dead

Amaya is alive in the "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 finale titled "Aruba." In this episode, the Legends travel back to 1916 to stop the Legion of Doom from getting their hands on the spear, where they also meet their former selves.

The "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 finale brings Amaya back from the dead. Last fans saw of her in "Doomworld" she shattered into pieces after Captain Cold turned her into ice. However, in "Aruba" Amaya is very much alive, thanks to time travel.

According to Comicbook, the "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 finale is a repeat of "The Fellowship of the Spear," which saw Amaya still alive. In this past episode, the team traveled to 1916 Aruba and met J.R.R. Tolkien. Sara Lance decides to travel back in time in the finale to prevent the Legion of Doom from getting their hands on the Spear of Destiny. They must stop (past) Rory from handing the relic to the enemy.

The team decides this is their best option in order to restore reality. However, they break the cardinal rule of time travel with their decision. They risk creating a time aberration, which could be their former selves. The trailer for the "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 Finale saw the Legends meet versions of themselves as well as the Legion itself. Chaos erupts when their paths cross.

If the Legends succeed in their mission in the "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 finale, then they restore reality back before the events in "Doomworld." The Legends could permanently erase Amaya's death from the timeline. According to Buddy TV, it is just right that Amaya lives for the sake of her future generation. If she dies then there is no Vixen in the present day. This could, in turn, create a problem for the DC multiverse especially since present day Vixen is in "Arrow."

Regardless, the question, though, is how will the Legends travel back in time given that the Waverider has shrunk in size. Will the team succeed in restoring reality and subsequently bring Amaya back from the dead? Find out when the "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 finale airs April 4 on The CW.
