Apple tvOS Is the operating system used by the company in its Apple TV devices. It is one of the most widely used OS for TV devices competing with Android TV. According to the new reports, Apple tvOS might receive an update soon.

Apple is expected to announce an update to its tvOS at the WWDC event in June this year. The new tvOS 11 will reportedly bring many new features and will be a significant update to the current tvOS. The most talked about feature is the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode and support for multiple user modes.

The early mock-ups leaked on the internet about the new upcoming tvOS 11 reveal these new features. In the new update, tvOS users will be able to add multiple Apple IDs to a single Apple TV device for every person in the house. This will bring a new customized experience for all of the users, as reported by AppleInsider.

According to the leaks by an Israeli site, The Verifier, the upcoming Apple tvOS 11 will be user-friendly and changing accounts in the new tvOS will be extremely easy.  Apple is reportedly working on the technology at an advanced level but integration with the devices could be a bit delayed. Also, this feature has been provided in the Macs before and iOS 9.3 brought 'Shared iPad' features for education last year.

Another report verifies that Apple will include a Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode in the upcoming tvOS 11 update. This feature would work like the Picture-in-Picture in iOS9 and would enable users to watch a video in an app while simultaneously doing other work on the device.  The video window will become smaller and docked to the sides of the screen, as reported by 9to5Mac.

The reports by the website are yet to be confirmed. But hopefully, we will see new announcements by Apple at the WWDC event on 5th June. Apart from tvOS 11, Apple is also expected to announce iOS 11, MacOS 10.13 and watchOS 4.
