Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon ‘Reconnecting,' Exes Likely Getting Back Together

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have remained very close after their divorce and they continue to spend time together. A source hinted that the exes are reconnecting and there could be a chance they could get back together.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon divorced in 2014 although this did not hinder them from staying in touch. The exes have remained committed to co-parenting their two children and have spent countless of times together as a family.

They recently celebrated Easter together with the kids and last month, they all went as a family to the Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon make sure to keep the family intact during holidays for the sake of their children.

However, the exes have reportedly been spending more time together recently, especially after Mariah Carey split from her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka earlier this month. Nick Cannon also continues to hang out with her and the children. The time they spent together fuelled speculations of reconciliation, and a source claimed there is a possibility that they could get back together.

It reportedly does not matter that Nick Cannon recently welcomed son Golden two months ago. After all, he and the child's mother Britanny Bell are not together. Suffice to say, both Mariah Carey and Cannon are currently single so anything is possible, including for them to get back together. "You never know," a source told Gossip Cop.

Meanwhile, people close to the exes are reportedly rooting for them to get back together. There is "hope" for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon to be a family again, now that they are both not committed to a relationship.

Reports of reconciliation came after nick Cannon gushed about his ex-wife last week. He called Mariah Carey and "amazing mother" and his "dream girl." He also denied that he is the cause of her breakup with Tanaka. "I will always love her," Cannon told Entertainment Tonight.

Regardless, it is unclear if Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will get back together after three years apart. The former "America's Got Talent" host clarified that he is happy with where their relationship stands now. He is not intimate with his ex-wife but he is close to her because they are a family.
