"Days of Our Lives" has lost a number of stars along the way. However, some actors return, new reports suggest that Kate Mansi might return in Salem.

Last weekend, Kate Mansi posted a photo on Instagram featuring her and the cast of "Days of Our Lives." Everyone was all smiles, hinting their joy with their reunion.

I loved seeing the faces of my old friends I've missed so much and some new ones I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time as well. The actress added that she loved seeing the faces of her old friends. Kate Mansi admitted that she missed them so much and took pleasure n meeting some of them for the first time. "Days of Our Lives" is a special home for her and so many of the people who have been following it, Mansi wrote.

The said post sent the "DOOL" fans into a frenzy. Many quickly concluded that Kate Mansi will return to play the role of Abigail again, SoapHub reported. Mansi portrayed the character for years but was given to Marci Miller when she decided to leave.

A whopping 95%of fans wanted Kate Mansi to return in "Days of Our Lives." Many believe that she has a strong chemistry with Bill Flynn's Chad. In fact, their tandem is one of the well-loved characters in "DOOL." Meanwhile, the other five percent thinks that Marci Miller is already good enough as the new Abby.

Kate Mansi's return in "Days of Our Lives" is always possible. Abby can take a surgery to bring her face back. However, reports have it that it is very unlikely.

Kate Mansi's reunion with the rest of the "DOOL" cast turned out to be a social media chat with the soap's Daytime Emmy nominees. In fact, the actress ended her post with "Congratulations to my fellow nominees XO." However, "Days of Our Lives" viewers can't help but miss her and compare her to Marci Miller.
