For the first time since being drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2010, Paul George is facing an uncertain future. He has been reported to be raring to transfer to the Los Angeles Lakers either via trade or free agency. Meanwhile, Blake Griffin may also be headed to the LA Clippers’ cross-town rivals in the offseason. His teammate, Chris Paul is looking at the San Antonio Spurs to give him a better shot for an NBA championship.

Paul George’s desire to leave Indiana and return home to Los Angeles has not waned a bit even with Larry Bird’s resignation from the Pacers organization. The four-time All-Star will be a free agent at the end of the 2017-18 NBA season when he can opt out of his contract with the Pacers. Analysts say that it is better for Indiana to trade him now when George’s value is at its peak rather than lose him to free agency.

The Los Angeles Lakers are now in a good position to acquire Paul George. They can either trade for him or wait out the next season until George becomes a free agent. According to Bleacher Report, Lakers president Magic Johnson wants George in his team.

Not only are the Los Angeles Lakers the most possible team Paul George can be drafted to but it looks like they can manage to steal another superstar. Blake Griffin could possibly switch to a Staples Center locker room. This recent trade rumor came up when the LA Clippers has come up short in advancing to the playoffs again despite having the star trio of Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan.

Blake Griffin may just be ready to move after another disappointing season with the Clippers. The Lakers may be a logical destination aside from the Boston Celtics, which has coveted him for years and could offer Griffin the chance to win a championship.

Blake Griffin’s teammate, Chris Paul, has been suffering with their team’s failure to advance to the second round of playoffs. This is despite of Paul being one of NBA’s premier point guards for ten years running. Basketball experts say that staying with the Clippers will only guarantee the same results for him reports The Big Lead.

Chris Paul can opt-out of his contract this offseason and sign with the San Antonio Spurs if he wants to be with a title contender. The team is the most logical landing spot for him specially now that Tony Parker sustained a possible career ending leg injury.
