PlayStation 4 Pro and Microsoft Xbox Scorpio are set to battle each other in the future. Both consoles have updates that are worth the hype of every gamer. But it seems like Google Daydream is also in for a gaming system all out brawl.

The Xbox Scorpio is the number one contender of PlayStation 4, with hardware upgrades that the gaming world never saw before. But perhaps what fuels the hype in this Microsoft flagship is its 4K support and the console's VR compatibility. The lack of game exclusives can be remedied with the full VR support on release, as reported by Express.

"Our plan is to bring mixed reality content to the Xbox One family of devices, including Project Scorpio, in 2018," Microsoft pledged earlier this year.

While there is a big hype surrounding Xbox Scorpio, Sony's Playstation 4 is currently the big wave in gaming consoles. It's Playstation 4 Pro will also have a hardware upgrade, but it seems like it is not as exciting as the Xbox Scorpio upgrades. It is reported that the PlayStation 4 Pro isn't powerful enough to run extensive games such as "Destiny 2" at 60 fps, as reported by MS Poweruser. Bungie, the developer of the game was the one who conducted the test.

But it seems like the battle of consoles will not be limited between PlayStation 4 and Xbox Scorpio. Nintendo Switch is steaming with sales and Google Daydream is having a new approach in Virtual Reality. A new premium HTC VIVE headset was announced and it will run on Google's Daydream platform.

The special thing about this new HTC VIVE headset is that it doesn't need a PC or TV to run, unlike Xbox Scorpio and PlayStation 4 Pro. These VR devices are standalone headsets and it is expected that the experience is more comfortable and immersive. Basically, it can be called as the portable VR that is built into the headset.
