'Supernatural' Season 13 Spoilers: Mark Sheppard's Crowley NOT Returning In The Series Finale

"Supernatural" just wrapped up its latest season. However, for those wondering about the fate of Mark Sheppard's Crowley in the next season the actor confirmed that he is not returning in the final season.

In the last episode of "Supernatural", the major players like Crowley (Mark Sheppard) and Castiel (Misha Collins) met the wrong end. Crowley met his bitter end in "All Along The Watchtower." While Collins will still be a part of "Supernatural" Season 13, Sheppard will not be.

On Thursday, "Supernatural" Co-EP Jim Michaels teased the viewers about the potential return of Mark Sheppard's Crowley in the series. "Thanks for everything Mark! We never say never, Mark! Besides, I know where you live!" he wrote on Twitter.

However, the actor was not supportive of Jim Michaels' teaser. Perhaps, he didn't want to disappoint fans who would be expecting him in "Supernatural" Season 13.

"@TheJimMichaels With all due respect, your comment is inaccurate and misleading to the fans. There are NO plans to have me return to SPN at ANY juncture," Mark Sheppard responded in a tweet.

Based on Mark Sheppard's take on his "Supernatural" character, Crowley it seemed that he is already moving on the from the series. He played the King of Hell for years now and sacrificed himself to defeat Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino).

ComicBook believed that Crowley's ending looked definitive. However, since the nature of the series is fiction, it is still possible to see Mark Sheppard in "Supernatural" Season 13. If the actor declines, the production can always recast.

"Supernatural" Season 13 is expected to return to the small screen in October. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are expected to return to reprise their roles as the Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam, respectively.
