The all-star lineup for this year's 2013 MTV Video Music Awards just keeps getting starrier and shinier. Just four days before the Brooklyn ceremony, yet another artist announced he will be performing at the VMAs. This time, Drake took to his Twitter to say he'll be taking to the mic!

"Excited to announce I'll be performing at the 2013 @MTV VMA's!!! #Brooklyn #OVO #Started #NeedAKawsTrophy," he wrote on his official account. Soon after Drizzy's own announcement, MTV News confirmed that the Toronto rapper will be performing his top 10 hit "Started From the Bottom."

Drake won't just be performing at the VMAs, the "Versace" rapper is also nominated for two Moonmen for "Started from the Bottom:" Best Direction and Best Hip-Hop Video. The competition is stiff, though. For Best Direction, he's up against big names like fun. ("Carry On"), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ("Can't Hold Us"), Justin Timberlake ("Suit & Tie") and Yeah Yeah Yeahs ("Sacrilege"). Meanwhile, Best Hip-Hop Video faces the OVO rapper versus A$AP Rocky ("F**kin' Problems"), J. Cole ("Power Trip"), Kendrick Lamar ("Swimming Pools") and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ("Can't Hold Us").

After faltering ratings last year, the 2013 VMAs are looking to rebound in full force with their big name performers. Lady Gaga will open the show with "Applause," and Katy Perry will end the show with "Roar." Other performers include: Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Bruno Mars and Robin Thicke. Daft Punk and 'NSYNC are also rumored to appear on the show.

Ariana Grande and Austin Mahone will perform during the pre-show.
