As the viral marketing campaign led fans to believe, the new single from indie rock band Arcade Fire debuted today (Sept. 9).

The video, available at justareflektor.com, syncs together viewers' computer camera and smartphone, allowing people to bend light reflections and change the video's scenes.

The storyline follows a young Haitian woman, as she navigates between a dream world and her everyday life. She meets shamans, drowns in water and wanders the streets of a village.

This isn't the first interactive music video from Arcade Fire. Their "The Suburbs'" track "We Used to Wait" also featured an interactive clip, which allowed viewers to maneuver the streets of their hometown using Google Maps.

"Reflektor" the song is clearly influenced and produced by LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy, who worked on Arcade Fire's upcoming fourth album. The track incorporates funk grooves (as found on LCD Soundsystem's final album "This Is Happening"). Singers Win Butler and Regine Chassagne trade off vocals duties perfectly, reflecting each other's patterns.

Like some of LCD Soundsystem's effort, "Reflektor" does tend to run a little long and drags toward the end of the track.

The result is something different from Arcade Fire, but the band has never been one to shy away from a change in sound.

"Reflektor" is the first single from Arcade Fire's yet-to-be-titled fourth studio album, which will go on sale Oct. 29. The band announced the release date in July by responding to a random fan's Twitter status.
