It hasn't even been two weeks since One Direction's concert documentary "This Is Us" hit theatres, and the Morgan Spurlock film is already getting a re-release. According to The Hollywood Reporter, starting this Friday (Sept. 13), an extended cut of "This Is Us" will begin showing in theaters across the US.

The extended version of the movie will contain 20 extra minutes of behind-the-scenes footage and will include four songs not in the original cut.

"One Direction: This Is Us" follows 1D band members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Hoan and Louis Tomlinson on tour and is billed as giving their dedicated Directioners fan base an unprecedented look at their rise to fame on the UK show "The X Factor" and at their lives before and after they reached mega-stardom.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the lives of One Direction's members were filmed over a six-month period.

The documentary footage is interspersed with live performance clips at London's O2 Arena.

"This Is Us" opened in the US on Aug. 30, and made $18.4 million in its opening weekend, according to iMBD. As of Sept. 6, the movie has made over $23 million domestically. Surely, the re-release will get dedicated Directioners back into the theaters to find out even more about their favorite music group.

The movie was led by One Direction's latest single, "Best Song Ever," which debuted in late July.
