Thinking that the news surrounding the death of Hollywood actor and activist Paul Walker couldn't get any worse, two men were arrested scavenging the crash site for wreckage to sell. These souvenirs would have been sold online in order to make some money off of the death of Walker. Thankfully the men were arrested, but the crime is still disgusting and thinking of the people that would purchase the wreckage off of these men is equally as disturbing.

The Hollywood Reporter broke this story:

The theft occurred as the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT was being towed from the accident scene on Saturday night, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said ... Witnesses told investigators that they saw someone driving behind the tow truck that was hauling away wreckage hours after the fiery crash that killed Walker and friend Roger Rodas, who was driving the car and also died. The witnesses said a man got out of the car when the truck was at a stoplight, grabbed the part, and drove away.

The article goes on to explain how the Police got involved and eventually tracked down the men, an 18-year-old and a 25-year-old, at their residence.

The investigation led detectives to Jameson Witty, 18, who was arrested at his home in Los Angeles and was being held on $20,000 bail, the Sheriff's Department said in a statement. A second suspect, a 25-year-old man whose name has not been released, was outside California and arranging to surrender, the statement said.

Charges have yet to be filed, but it looks like these criminals will face some sort of punishment for this harrowing act.
