Ariana Grande covers 'Cosmo', dishes on her super respectful first date with ex-boyfriend Nathan Sykes

Ariana Grande is trying to wild up her squeaky clean image, even if only a little bit. The "Right There" singer and Sam & Cat star will be appearing on the February cover of Cosmopolitan magazine. The sexy monthly revealed her hot pink cover today (Dec. 30).

The 20-year-old singer is rocking a strappy black crop top and tailored black mini-skirt on the magazine's cover, alongside some flashy yellow gold jewelry and her red Kabbalah bracelet. Unlike some other starlets, who have saucier headlines, Grande's remains sweet: "On Top At 20, Ariana Grande: Her Amazing Story!" the tagline reads.

In Cosmo's teaser, Grande reveals her very modest first date with (now ex-)boyfriend Nathan Sykes of The Wanted. "We were going back to his hotel to watch a movie, and he had Ladurée macarons and sunflowers waiting - I love Parisan baked goods, and sunflowers are my favorite flower," she said, showing Sykes does his research. But that's not all! "He had taken the DVD played out of the bedroom and into the living room, because he said he didn't want to take me into the bedroom on the first date."

Grande also dished on her Twitter haters, who are so "evil as hell" that she no longer blocks them to give them the satisfaction, and how she's a positive role mode because she's a Harry Potter geek who loves Barbra Streisand and gardening.

Grande's Cosmopolitan cover will hit newsstands in February 2014.
