According to some new reports, Harrison Ford's on-set injury while filming the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII with director J.J. Abrams has caused the Indiana Jones star to miss about two months of filming. This has yet to be confirmed by Disney, Lucasfilm or Ford's team, but sources say that Han Solo's scenes are delayed. Whether or not it will have a big effect on the films general filming schedule has yet to be determined.

Ford stars alongside fellow Star Wars cast members John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

According to a statement released late last week from Disney, "Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates."

That was the last official statement we'd heard, but this week insiders are claiming Ford could be out for quite some time.

"The initial day or two after the accident it was hard to move things around but now we have had more time we can juggle things, bring some scenes forward and push others back," a source said according to The Mirror. "There are lots of other actors in the movie so it is not a disaster. We are still confident the film can stay on schedule. At the moment it looks like Harrison is going to be off set for 6-8 weeks but the main priority is making sure he is OK."

Hopefully Ford recovers soon.
