Real Madrid's Gareth Bale Insists La Liga Is Better Than Premier League: While Tottenham & Peterborough Utd Lookalike Kenny McEvoy Hopes To Replace Him

One year ago Tottenham sold the best player in the English Premier League, in Gareth Bale, to La Liga team Real Madrid. After one season in Spain the Welshman insists that La Liga is far better than England, annoying many of his home-based fans. However, Spurs have a young prospect who bases his game on Bale's style, and he looks like his younger brother too. The youngster, Kenny McEvoy, is a highly-rated prospect, who Spurs have just loaned to Peterborough United, to gain experience. Is La Liga the better league, and can McEvoy gain the experience to help Spurs forget about Bale?

Bale terrorized the English defenses, and he's done the same to the La Liga players, but he's been quick to explain the differences between the leagues. The star explained " For me I think the Spanish league is the most exciting. It's the world's top players there. Barcelona, Real Madrid are always in the Champions League, either winning it or coming very close. The Premier League is a great league. I think it's very close, but yeah I think we are attracting the best players now to La Liga and it's making it more exciting and it's great to be involved in it."

Meanwhile, Spurs' youngster, McEvoy, is looking to gain experience in the lower leagues, before earning himself a starting berth at Spurs. He is heading to League One's Peterborough, where he is tipped to be a huge player for their club. Bale's lookalike explained his joy at the move, saying "This is an opportunity for me to come and try and break into the first team and get some experience under my belt. It is my first loan spell so I just have to try and impress in training. It is good that I have been able to join in pre-season as I can get to know the lads before the season starts."
