Premier League stars Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Thiabaut Courtois, Diego Costa, Angel Di Maria and Alexis Sanchez make the nominee list, but will their nominations be turned into a place on the elite team? Gareth Bale, now of Real Madrid, is also on the list. The list stands as a 55-man shortlist which will be cut down, with many of the stars missing out.
