Brad Guzan, Harry Kane, Paul Lambert, Mauricio Pochettino and Christian Benteke took all of the headlines in this weekend's Premier League games, in what many are calling one of the craziest games of the season. Aston Villa looked set to beat Tottenham, until a red card and a late double ensured they'd suffer yet another miserable finish to a game. Their manager, in turn, insisted his daughter could've punched harder than the red carded player did himself. Why was this an EPL stunner, and can this game be topped this season?

Villa took the lead and were in cruise control, but a late Kane goal ensured that Spurs would break Villa's hearts. Kane looks set to be rewarded with more game-time. Pochettino insisted "He maybe deserves to play in the Premier League more. We are really happy with him because in every competition he has scored, his display was good and the three points are very important for us. Our position in the table was not good. Now we are three points off the places for the Champions League. In football it can change a lot. We know the situation, we need to build something special and in that process you need time and to be strong."

However, Villa's star forward, Benteke was shown a straight red for punching an opponent, and Lambert hit out, saying, "You cannot condone what he did, but it is not like he threw a Mike Tyson punch. My daughter can punch harder. He was provoked. If you go back a frame in the video, you can see the lad puts his head into Christian's face. I can understand what Christian's done, even though I can't condone it."

The game had goals, cards, pace, power and everything one would expect from an EPL game, but yet again, United States' goalkeeper Guzan proved he is one of the best in the division, and the world, which was perhaps the only positive for the Villa faithful.
