Mauricio Pochettino was supposed to be the next big thing, helping Tottenham to Premier League glory in the process, but so far, it has just not worked out for the former Southampton manager. Could he get fired after yet another defeat? Not yet, but rumors have suggested that the exit door is slowly opening and things must rapidly improve. Despite this negativity, he has admitted they need to do better, but he has remained relaxed, explaining why.

He insisted he wasn't happy with their start, saying, "No, but when you lose you are always unhappy. We need to find a solution very quickly. This is my challenge in the next few weeks. It is clear from the result we need to improve a lot and improve quickly."

He continued, "When we conceded we started to make rash decisions and felt uncomfortable on the pitch. We made some mistakes that are not possible in the Premier League. We were no good in the first half, we tried to fix things in the second half, but at 2-0 down it is difficult. You never have a long time in football. We need to change mentality."

Former EPL veteran, James Scrowcroft, has shared his view, saying, "If I was a Spurs fan I would be exceptionally worried. There were no leaders at all for Tottenham. Watching that was almost like watching a relegation-threatened side. If Chelsea were to come here on that performance, you'd expect them to score five or six."

The question is, should Spurs sack their manager so early in the season, or does he need more time?
