Brian Hoyer, Rex Grossman, Connor Shaw & Johnny Manziel: HUGE NFL SHOCK: Cleveland Browns Star Becomes Fourth Choice Quarterback Ahead Of 2014/15 NFL Season

Johnny Manziel and his entire NFL career is likely to follow his Texas A&M NCAA career, in which all eyes are on Johnny, for the good, the bad and the ugly. Manziel went in to pre-season competing to be the No. 1 QB for the Cleveland Browns, however, yesterday the Browns revealed that Brian Hoyer will be their starting man, and Manziel is "far behind". With this in mind, and judging the evidence on show, could Manziel actually be fourth choice in the Cleveland Browns' QB depth chart? Over to you, Hoyer, Rex Grossman and Connor Shaw.

Manziel was facing off against an injured veteran that offers little experience, despite his many years of NFL experience. Hoyer hasn't played much. Still, Manziel, with his erratic on-the-field play, and off-the-field drama, seemingly lost the QB battle long before it started. During the battle the Browns signed veteran Grossman as they were unhappy with Hoyer and Manziel, prompting belief that they would make changes.

Grossman, despite not being elite, offers the experience the other three lack. Shaw has impressed during training camp and pre-season, and in some sense offers everything Johnny does, but without the drama. With Hoyer being named the starter, Grossman carrying the experience and Shaw carrying the attitude-less potential, one can wonder, is Johnny Football the fourth choice QB?

We'll likely never know this, as things change quickly in football, but if there's a sudden injury crisis, could we soon learn that Money Manziel is a fourth-string wonder? All eyes are on Cleveland.
