The Cleveland Browns have spent the entire summer trying to debate which quarterback should be their main man, and recently they said bye-bye to Johnny Manziel, informing the world that Brian Hoyer would be their starting QB. However, coach Mike Pettine has hinted they may make some changes, using a two-quarterback system, meaning both 1 & 2 get plenty of starting reps, adding to an already controversial situation. This has also sparked rumours that they could in turn trade Rex Grossman or Connor Shaw once they've made up their minds as to who should be their starting QB for the 2014/15 NFL season.

Pettine could be punishing Johnny Football for his recent bad behaviour. After flipping off his opponents, Pettine was not happy. He explained saying it does not sit well" and went on to say how "disappointing" it was. He has now said "We could potentially look at a two-quarterback system down the road," In an organization that needs Manziel, it seems they're not prepared to give up on him just yet, finding any way to throw him back in to the spotlight.

Manziel might have a chance, but one thing is for sure, he has to impress both off and on the field as soon as possible. On the plus side he can take time to study, bulk up and improve his attitude, all things which could make him a far better person and player. With their love of Johnny it looks like top prospect Shaw might be on the trade block, meaning he can find a team that he has a future on, and the Browns can add a draft pick or two to their team.

Can the two-quarterback system work in Cleveland?
