Ohio State University are currently working through problem by problem during their current college football season. They began the season as one of the favored NCAA teams, however one lucky win, a bad loss, and all of a suddenly they're struggling to work out what direction they need to head. The Buckeyes lost Braxton Miller to injury, but Urban Meyer put the faith in freshman J.T. Barrett, and it seems they're going to have to learn to take the good with the bad. Tonight, however, all was good as they destroyed Kent State 66-0.

There are a lot of weaker opponents for the bigger colleges, and the Buckeyes sure needed a pick-me-up, and Kent State proved to be just that. Barrett matched their school record with six touchdown passes, five of them coming in the first half. Meyer cannot let their previous week's defeat go, it seems. He explained "Where are we and do I like where we're at? You still have a sick feeling in your stomach about last week. But we're moving forward."

Barrett seems to be maturing with every play, and he explained why today's game went so well: "We had a pretty good idea what they were going to do. We worked on a game plan all week and it turned out pretty good for us." Meyer insisted it wasn't a mismatch, saying "Some people say, 'Oh, you shouldn't play them. I think you should play them. You can't forecast when you make this scheduling that you're going to have a new quarterback and a young offensive line. This is what the doctor ordered."

There might be a lot of good and bad to sort for the Buckeyes, but little by little, they're slowly getting there.
