If you have read the book Gone Girl you have been bitten by the novelist Gillian Flinch, who made the New York Times Bestseller list. The book is a mind twisting uncertainty if Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) has killed his wife, Amy Dunne (Rosamund Pike)

Reports are beginning to circle in tinsle-town that David Fincher turns the hell-bound pages of Gone Girl twisting them into a must-see date night movie.

"Expect a stampede at the box office" reports the Rolling Stone. "Gone Girl is a movie of its cultural moment, an era when divorce won't cut it if there are options for lethal revenge and aggravated assault"

The movie is said to be faithful to the original novel, which should be faultless for die-hard Gillian Flynn fans, that is if the movie caters to the originality of the book.

People magazine reports that the movie is better than the book. "This adaptation has thrown out a lot of unessential plot detail, tightened up the story and spared us a lot of workmanlike prose purpled up with patches of regret and nostalgia for the glamour of young, romantic, writerly Manhattan."

Fincher gives audience member one scene to be remembered. If violence is not in your cards, it's advised to close your eyes during this scene.

The eerie chapter where police detectives along with Nick spawn the abandoned mall, looking for Amy or any leads is well depicted on the big screen. Cold chills will be guaranteed to run through viewers' veins. The book is exactly that - dark, evil and frustrating at times by not knowing if Nick irately committed the crime.

However, with all creepiness aside, there is still room for humor as a Nancy Grace parody is admitted into the film.
