‘Glee’ Star Matthew Morrison Married Girlfriend Renee Puente in Hawaiian Ceremony

Glee star Matthew Morrison is officially married. The 35-year-old actor tied the knot Saturday, Oct. 18, in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii. The actor said "I do" to his longtime girlfriend Renee Puente over the weekend.

The happy couple wed on the island of Maui, Hawaii, on a private estate, People exclusively confirmed. There were only 50 close friends and family in attendance.

Matthew popped the question last year on June 27, 2013, after they started dating in 2011. According to Us Weekly, Elton John and David Furnish announced their friends' happy news during the Elton's White Tie and Tiara Ball to benefit the AIDS Foundation in London last summer.

"They have never seen Matt happier than when he is with her. She is super supportive of his career and also works on her own. She is such a great girl and they are awesome together," a source told Us Weekly about the couple.

"An incredible night of LOVE @ejaf Ball. I'm going to marry my best friend! Happy day for me and @Renee_Puente," Matthew tweeted after the proposal more than a year ago.

A year later, the happy couple's now married. According to People, the Glee actor wore a custom-made Brooks Brothers tuxedo and his bride, a model, wore a custom gown by Gustavo. Renee's shoes were specially designed by Emmy London.

In true Mr. Schue fashion — the character Matthew plays on Glee — Matthew sang at his wedding. Matthew and Renee performed a couples duet singing "Starry Eyed/Video Games" by Laura Benanti. The 31-year-old model also performed a special hula dance for Matthew, before he joined her for another hula performance, People revealed.

Other musical performances included pianist Chad Whidden, who performed for the crowd, and Kiley Dean, who sang "Feels Like Home," as Renee walked down the aisle. The romantic night was topped off with desserts the couple chose based on their favorite family recipes, the publication reported.
