Carrie Underwood's Personal Trainer, Erin Oprea, Gives Calorie Melting Thanksgiving Workout [VIDEO]

Can you already feel your jeans becoming a little tighter as that pecan pie is smelling deliciously more appetizing? If only the calorie overload wasn't so evil during Thanksgiving meals, we could feel assured. Well, you can now, as mom-to-be Carrie Underwood's personal trainer, Erin Oprea gives a fat burning workout to shed those Thanksgiving day pounds.

"One of the best ways to start a traditionally unhealthy holiday is to make sure you get in a bum-kicking workout that morning," the former U.S. Marine said." After you've spent the time and energy working out, your fitness goals will be top of mind and you'll be reminded to take it easy on the heavy foods."

Exercise 1: Squat Jump Into a Kick Kick

Go down for a squat and jump as high as you can. Then stay down low and kick to one side then kick to the other. Aim to do 10-15 for each side.

"My husband and I always run a race on Thanksgiving morning for this very reason. So, with your health in mind, I challenge you to jump, kick and sweat during this great -- albeit food-heavy -- holiday," Oprea revealed.

Exercise 2: Sumo Squat with Air Tap.

Squat down wide and tap your toes in the air. Aim for 15 to 20 reps.

Exercise 3: Plank Jacks

Get into the plank position keeping your core engaged and back flat. Move your legs just like a jumping jack. In this exercise, you are working your core as well as your heart rate. Aim for 30 seconds to 1 min.
