Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman loves whiskey and he is singing about it from the rooftop ... well, sort of. The 44-year-old actor recently released a hilarious video that shows him singing all about whiskey.

According to Zap2It, Offerman has teamed up with Diageo (the maker of some of Scotland's finest single-malt whiskies) to create a series of music videos about the tasty alcohol.

"I adore working wood in my shop/But my fingers I'd rather not chop," Offerman sings in the funny video. "So I make sure the tools are turned off/Before I knock back my first quaff/No woodwork and whiskey don't mix/Ain't no drinking while milling up sticks/So I put down my jig and imbibe in a swig/For whiskey is why my heart ticks."

The series of whisky songs is called "My Tales of Whisky" and features fun lyrics about the tasty drink that Offerman loves so much. The video below starts with Offerman in Scotland and then flipping a page of a book that transports you into the song. The only problem is, Offerman can't play his guitar the whole time when holding a glass of the fine spirit in his hand.

Bonus: Offerman works with wood in the video, just like his onscreen character Ron Swanson would do!

The "My Tales of Whisky" YouTube page reads, "As the title suggests, the original content pieces are musings on Scotch whisky. As the title may not suggest, new chapters from the series will be released throughout the week."

Some of the other catchy lyrics include, "My first love is whiskey in a jar, and the second this six-string guitar, but you can't play a song and drink whiskey, whether singing in that or in this key."

These hilarious videos should help you stay busy until the final season of Parks and Recreation premieres on Jan. 13.
