Is Mona Scott-Young taking reality TV too far? The Love & Hip Hop franchise creator is back again and this time exposing the life of black sorority life.

According to VH1, the new show premiering Monday, Dec. 15 is described as:

Sorority Sisters follows the lives of "sorors" from four different Atlanta sororities. Unlike most white sororities, African-American sorors pledge for life and are expected to continue with community work long after graduation. With this fierce loyalty comes intense rivalry among the sisters of the different organizations. From long-awaited reunions and high teas, to managing the men in their lives, it's homecoming all across the ATL! Our ladies have a lot at stake, from maintaining their image in the community to holding down the bonds and legacies of their sororities."

The new controversial reality show will follow the lives of nine women who pledged either Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta or Sigma Gamma Rho as they go through cat fights, sorority drama, and more, that has Greeks everywhere outraged as they claim the show will not reveal the true meanings behind sisterhood, and community service.

According to the Huffington Post, many Greek organizations wanted the release of the show banned. A petition was signed by many who thought Mona Scott-Young, and Forest Whitaker's Underground were damaging the reputation of HBCU Greek life image.

In the trailer below, you can see that the girls were staying away from using their Greek names and logos on the show, and it's probably for good reason. The show has a lot of drama, none related to "sisterhood," focusing on my personal relationships, boyfriends, careers, and "whose clique are you in," which no organization wants to be a part of.

The trailer is described as, "Greek life means different things to different people but one things for sure the women of VH1′s newest series, Sorority Sisters take it seriously. Watch the lives a group of 'sorors' from four different Atlanta sororities. These women took an oath for life to work with their community and with one another through thick and thin."

MStars News wants to know, do you plan on watching another reality show filled with drama, focusing less on the true meaning of sororities? Sound off below.

If you plan on watching, the show premieres Monday, Dec. 15 at 9 PM ET/PT right after a new season of Love & Hip Hop.
