Fox has announced a new cast addition to the Batman prequel, Gotham. Just as two frightening villains from DC Comics' infamous rogues gallery are about to meet, will Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) be able to stop a serial killer, Ogre (Milo Ventimiglia) running loose in the city?

In our previous recap, after returning from Arkham Asylum, Jim Gordon (McKenzie) came back to the police force with a new mission. Cleaning up his precinct, Gordon took down the corrupt detective Flass, but the arrest came with a moral cost. Elsewhere, Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) is on the run from the Penguin (Robin Taylor), who has taken control over her nightclub.

In our recent recap, while Fish sought salvation outside of Gotham, Penguin found himself feeling the wrath of mob boss, Sal Maroni (David Zayas). Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) were in a race against the clock to stop Dr. Gerald Crane (Julian Sands). Though they rescued one of Crane's victims in the nick of time, Dr. Crane is on the run with son, who is destined to become The Scarecrow.

Just as the detectives are discovering the Scarecrow's origin tale, The Hollywood Reporter  announces that the former Heroes alum has landed the recurring role of "The Ogre." Ventimiglia's character is described as "handsome, wealthy and seductive." The Ogre has been murdering young women in Gotham for almost a decade, searching for a perfect mate.

The Ogre (Ventimiglia) will show up on the 19th episode.

As we previously mentioned, the two Batman baddies will meet on Monday's episode. Robin Taylor teases what will happen when the Penguin and Edward Nygma bump into each other, "I'm such a huge fan of Cory [Michael Smith]'s, and I can tease that we do have a moment. Penguin and Riddler meet, coming up, which is one of my favorite things that we've shot in the entire series. It's just one scene, but the dynamic between the two of them, they're such oddballs and they're so different from each other in the way that they're odd, you know?"

Gotham continues on Fox Mondays at 8pm.

Readers, are you excited to see a serial killer on the show?
