Before the newest episode of the Batman prequel, Gotham, airs, Fox has released an all-new clip featuring DC Comics' famous sidekick. Will detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) discover the death of Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing)'s parents?

In our previous recap, while Fish sought salvation outside of Gotham, Penguin found himself feeling the wrath of mob boss, Sal Maroni (David Zayas). Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) were in a race against the clock to stop Dr. Gerald Crane (Julian Sands). Though they rescued one of Crane's victims in the nick of time, Dr. Crane is still on the run with son, Jonathan, who is destined to become the Scarecrow.

In our recent recap, Harvey and Gordon were in the midst of a heavy shootout with Dr. Gerald Crane. Though the detectives put an end to Gerald's killing spree, but they were too late to stop him from injecting Jonathan Crane with his fear serum. They unknowingly witnessed the birth of the Dark Knight's most infamous villain, The Scarecrow.

According to TV Line, audiences are going to meet Robin's acrobat parents (played by Rob Gorrie and Abbie Snee) as Lesile (Baccarin) and Jim go out on their date to the circus. In the comics, the Flying Graysons will meet their tragic deaths when a mob boss decides to sabotage their circus act.

In the exclusive featurette, when Jim and Leslie discover a dead body, McKenzie reveals, "They have to figure out who did it."

We also mentioned that not only does Grayson have his own solo title, Nightwing will be starring in his own TNT series titled, Titans.

Though we heard laughter in the latest preview, does this mean the Joker will arrive sooner than later. Executive producer Bruno Heller teases to Screen Rant, "What I can guarantee is that you have to follow that brilliant young actor Cameron Monaghan down the line, and you will see how this leads to the character we all know and love. When the episode is aired, people will see it's not an imitation of somebody else or an homage to anyone. It's a performance in and of itself."

Gotham continues on Fox, Mondays at 8pm.
