With Sharknado 3 already in production, Syfy has announced where new key scenes will be filmed in the upcoming third installment. With the main cast reunited, April Wexler (Tara Reid), Ian Ziering (Fin Shepard), and Nova Clarke (Cassie Scerbo) tease what's in store for the third part of the highly successful Sharknado franchise though Vine.

As we previously mentioned, Sharknado 2: The Other One took viewers to the the Big Apple as a storm of biblical proportions hit the streets. Reunited after being estranged, Fin (Ziering) and April (Reid) are back fighting sharks that keep falling from the sky. This time around, Fin had to save his former best friend, Martin (Mark McGrath) and his sister Ellen (Kari Wuhrer) before New York's famous landmarks became toppled over by the massive floods.

In the plot of Sharknado 3, the unnatural weather disaster will cause mass destruction in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., then roar down to the Eastern Seaboard. Director Anthony C. Ferrante will once again direct Thunder Levin's script, who previously penned the first two installments. As we mentioned before, Scerbo will play Nova again, who was last seen in the original 2013 TV movie.

According to ClickOrlando, key scenes for Sharknado 3 will be filmed at Florida's Universal Orlando Resort. Local 6 states, "They said it's unlike any other film they've worked on and that some of it will be filmed in the middle of Universal Orlando's theme park, while the park is open for business, which adds a challenge."

E! reports the 39-year-old actress posted a short video on Vine, showing that filming is already underway. We see the American Pie starlet playing around with animatronic shark, trying to get inside its mouth. The caption states, "When I see a shark, I be like..."

Sharkando 3 will premiere on Syfy sometime in 2015.
